1. The price for a single private violin or viola lesson is $16 for 1/2 hour. If you pay for the month in advance the price is reduced to $15 per 1/2 hour.
2. Missing one lesson in a quarter is excused. If you miss two lessons in a quarter there will be a $5 charge. The third missed lesson in a quarter will be $10. Four or more will be charged the full price. The exception to this would be in emergent situations or prearranged with the teacher. Your appointment time is reserved for you every week. If you aren't using it often enough I will need to find someone who will because this is my sole source of income.
3. Please try to give 24 hours notice of cancellation by phone or 72 hours ( 3 days ) by email unless its an emergency.
4. You should bring your violin or viola and all assigned music to your lesson with you. I may not have what you need.
5. You should practice a minimum of 2 1/2 to 3 hours a week to get the most out of your lessons. ( 1/2 hour at least 5 days a week.) The bottom line is, the more you practice the better you will get.
6. Please try to be on time for your lessons. I can't guarantee that I will be able to hold you over to make up for late arrival. It isn't fair to the next student.
7. If your phone number or email address changes you should notify me. I may need to cancel sometime and if I can't reach you ......
